How You Can Help LBC

OPENING DOORS TO LEADERSHIP

A Legacy Scholarship Campaign

The need for a Scholarship Fund

Leadership-Baltimore County selects approximately 40 qualified candidates each year to participate in the program.  The tuition from this class covers the organization's operating expenses.  While the cost of tuition is within the reach of most large businesses, it is frequently beyond the financial reach of smaller businesses and non-profit organizations.  Nonetheless, inclusion of these groups is essential to creating a wide cadre of trained leaders to tackle the challenges facing the region today and in the future. In order to ensure that all qualified applicants are able to participate in Leadership we must be able to offer scholarships to those that need it.

The campaign’s goal is to create an endowed scholarship fund which will guarantee the availability of scholarship funds in perpetuity, separate from Leadership-Baltimore County’s operating budget.

Campaign Financial Goals

  • To annually fund at least $20,000 in scholarships.
  • To ensure the long-term viability of that scholarship fund.

Ways to Give

  • One-time or installment payments over four years.
  • Scholarship naming opportunities for significant gifts
