Applications are open to persons living in or working in the Baltimore region. The goal of the Selection Committee is to create a class that includes representation from a cross-section of the community - business, education, government, non-profits and ethnic and minority groups. We are looking for tomorrow's leaders.
Key criteria:
Senior level leadership with a high level of success in one's chosen field
A passion for the people of Baltimore County and a personal commitment to help determine the future
A demonstrated commitment to the community through past and current activities
An interest in enhancing one's leadership capabilities to meet the demands of the 21st century
A willingness to commit the time and energy necessary to complete the program requirements with the full support of one's organization
The Leadership-Baltimore County Selection Committee reviews every application and interviews all candidates most likely to utilize their leadership abilities for the long-term benefit of the county.
The program consists of seminars, face-to-face discussion with today's leaders and experts in a variety of areas, plus problem-solving field experiences. The tuition for the 10-month program is $5,950.00. Partial need-based scholarships are available. The program begins with a mandatory 2-day retreat scheduled for September 13-14, 2010.
